Nihongoup is a wonderful educational game that allows you to practice your knowledge of the Japanese language. As you may know, learning a new language is not an easy task, specially Japanese, where you not only have to learn the phonetics, and the hiragana and katakana (called kanas), but also the corresponding kanji for those (meaning the character). Remembering the characters is the most difficult part for me. With this game, you not only can practice the characters, but also vocabulary and grammar in a fun way.
This game includes four types of games, namely, the Kana, in which you must type the correct readings of the falling kanas before they reach the bottom of the screen; and the Kanji, Vocabulary and Grammar games, in which you must choose the correct answer either by pressing the according number on your keyboard or by clicking on the appropriate balloon. In the Kanji game, you must choose a kanji that can be correctly placed in the proposed sentence. Also, the Vocabulary game helps you expand your vocabulary and express yourself more clearly and accurately. Finally, the Grammar game helps you learn how to correctly use Japanese particles and counters. However, this game is just to practice your previous Japanese knowledge, and not to learn the language from scratch, since you won't get any kind of explanation regarding what are or how to use the kanjis, particles, counters, etc. more
